Ooops...

i just realized that i forgot to say what i got for the 5th day of christmas.
i got a plate of glazed donuts{they are so far the greatest "golden rings" i have ever received}

so i have been trying to catch the person that is giving me these gifts
i have been told that if i sneak and see them then it will ruin it
but i really really want to know!
i have been out of school this week so i have been waiting to see if i can catch them.
but they came before i woke up on monday, so today i woke up fairly early and checked...
nothing,
and i periodically checked throughout the morning, and found nothing.
after i showered i went to the door and yes i found a cute little gift bag sitting on the door mat with a note. grrrrrr
of course they would come while i was in the shower!
but i like my gift it was a Christmas cd and a reese's christmas tree
this person really seems to know how much i love chocolate :)

but i promise i will find this person...wish me luck

Days six, seven, and eight!

the egg nog is for the sixth day of Christmas "six geese-a-laying"

"seven swans-a-swimming" i got the book the trumpeter swan. i have never read it but it sounds pretty good.

i got chocolate milk for the 8th day of Christmas
"eight maids-a-milking"

4th day of Christmas

on the fourth day of Christmas my best friend gave to me four calling birds.

and i got a Christmas tree ornament{yes i look like a goober} i hope this picture shows how cute this little birdie is. i know that most bird decorations are creepy, but i think this one is cute

this is my first Christmas ornament :)
{i am super excited about it}
not only did i get this bird but the little bag he came in was full of m&m's
{this person must really know me because they are giving me so much chocolate}

On the 3rd day of Christmas my best friend gave to me...french toast??

well not french toast but the ingredients to make french toast. a loaf of bread{and its the good thick cut kind!} and a little thing of cinnamon.

i am not sure i will get around to making the french toast, but it was a very cute idea!
can't wait for day 4..."four calling birds"

1st & 2nd day's of Christmas

on monday i came came home from a long day of work to a bucket full of pears.
and note that informed me i will be receiving 12 gifts{for the 12 days of Christmas}
tonight was a bag of dove chocolates yummm!


kind of excited to see what i get tomorrow for "three french hens"

giving thanks

i spent thanksgiving in idaho with my family.
it was so great.
i was very thankful that i made it to idaho after my five hour drive.
i stayed with my grandma and spent the day with her my cousins and
my aunt and uncles. i love thanksgiving getting to spend the whole day with
my family and eating food.

i even participated in black friday this year{it was surprisingly fun}
i went to wal mart with my friends at midnight and we got in line to buy tv's
and had to wait until 5 a.m.
and i discovered that it is impossible to fall asleep on the wal mart floor.
the only thing i bought this year was a couple of cheap movies.
maybe next year i will be more adventurous and go shopping at the mall.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

i love the snow!!

snow and i have always had a great relationship, it used to get me out of school{which was greatly appreciated, because i usually needed the extra day for my homework}
it made my house and all the houses around look so much better like they should have been in a christmas movie.
snow also helped me get into the christmas spirit i think i t makes the world look so calm, peaceful, and beautiful.
snow and i have never really gotten in a fight before, we have had our spats. like when i am already late for school but have to scrape off the windshield, when the road was slick and i had to avoid hitting a dog so i spun off the road. but snow always has a way of redeeming itself, even though my car went off the road the snow stopped us from hitting anything.

however i fear that if i can not make it to idaho for thanksgiving because the snow has closed the roads, this may be our first actual fight{first fights are usually the worst} i just hope that snow and i can make it through this rough patch and i will safely be able to make it home to my family whom i love and miss.

also i hope all family and friends that are still traveling will make it home to their loved ones
