mistakes and choices

so i got this from suzann parkinson's facebook. she is my friend jordyn's mom.
i had never considered this before, it is however completely true

Lagoon!!

so over labor day weekend me and some of my friends decided that we would all go to logan to stay at trenton and macall's house. {trenton is my cousin and macall is his wife and one of my best friends}
 it was great i got there in the afternoon and then the 3 of us had to wait for sean & jordyn, chris, and hadley & madison{they are getting married on november 5th, how exciting}
 here is a little history we all went to high school together{except madi who went to west j} and have been friends since grade school.
anyways they finally got to logan and we all stayed up chatting for a while then went to bed. the funny thing is we all stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, we were all nice and cozy
on sunday we woke up had cheese pancakes{thanks to sean} got ready and headed for lagoon!! it was so much fun i love lagoon and i love spending time with old and new friends! we all enjoyed the rides except macall who is 9 months pregnant and could only ride rattle snake rapids but she sure was a trooper.

 *on a side note trenton and macall are having a little baby boy sometime very soon!!!

i think my favorite part was getting our old time photo's. i have ALWAYS wanted to go with friends and get those done, woo hoo i finally did. after a very long and very fun day we headed back to logan, and again stayed up way to late eating and chatting while playing wii.
monday we woke up and had a lazy day of watching our senior trip to lake powell{good times} then we went to olive garden and had some lunch and of course used my 25% discount because i am cool and work at the og. before going home i had to pick up some Aggie Blue Mint ice cream for new sister{that's carrie if you didn't knkow}
it was sad to say goodbye to my friends and go back to reality. but i can't wait until we do it again!

Spring.

oh wait it isn't spring anymore,

oops i guess it has been a while since i posted anything.

well i had quite the busy spring this year i had two of my best friends getting married
jordyn parkinson. and paige larsen.
jordyn got married on may 28, 2011 in the rexburg, idaho temple. she is now mrs. jordyn pope!
how cute is that!
she married sean pope and they are both awesome and such great friends.

this picture is from my 18th birthday party at
my grandma arnold's house.
my grandma passed away on february 17, 2011
after she had a stroke in phoenix arizona were she was
visiting my parents.

well to say the least my grandma was AMAZING!
i love her so much and she just rocks my world.
i lived with her for about 6 months and they were
the best months ever. she is very stubborn and says
exactly what she feels and that is what i love about her.
also,
she was always on the go. if anyone needed help she was there.
and all of us in the family knew we could count on grandma to
come to all of our important events. and if we ever wanted a good
lunch we could stop in and she cook us the best meal ever.
i will miss my grandma like crazy but i know that she is happy
because now she is with the love of her life my grandpa arnold
who passed away four years ago in december.

even though she is gone i know she isn't really gone

i love you grandma and i hope that one day i can be as AMAZING
as you are!!! love you and miss you so much, can't wait to see you
and grandpa again <3

The Big Two-Oh

well as of tuesday {jaunuary 11th} i am no longer a teenager
i am 20! kinda weird, still trying to get used to it
i feel a little old.

my birthday started off with a bunch of text messages at 12:01
i woke up to find more text messages, and a candy poster that my roommates had made for me{how very thoughtful}
at school i got a beautiful bouquet of pink roses{from dad}


after school i came home and got ready. brock and new sister{carrie} had told to make sure i had the day off so that we could celebrate.
i considered going over in my sweats hoodie and hair on top of my head{which is a pretty normal thing for me}
but i realized i didn't know if we were going out or not so i got ready for real.
i got there brock had to go pick up a friend from the airport and new sister and i decided to make pizza, and then to my surprise my roommate and some friends came in
they had thrown me a surprise party!!!!

i was super excited

i hadn't been expecting much and this was awesome

the last days of Christmas

"nine ladies dancing"
on the 9th day of Christmas I got a CD of Christmas songs.

"ten lords a-leaping"
i got a framed picture of Christ. i have never gotten a picture of him before

"eleven pipers pipping"
a mug filled with chocolate kisses and some hot chocolate{so i could have a pipping hot cup of hot chocolate} and it was mint flavored{my personal fav!}

"twelve drummers drumming"
i found a box of ice cream drumsticks on my front step.

now i have been determined to find out who this person is, but i sadly never did.
i tried so very hard to find them but they were more discrete then i had anticipated.

Ooops...

i just realized that i forgot to say what i got for the 5th day of christmas.
i got a plate of glazed donuts{they are so far the greatest "golden rings" i have ever received}

so i have been trying to catch the person that is giving me these gifts
i have been told that if i sneak and see them then it will ruin it
but i really really want to know!
i have been out of school this week so i have been waiting to see if i can catch them.
but they came before i woke up on monday, so today i woke up fairly early and checked...
nothing,
and i periodically checked throughout the morning, and found nothing.
after i showered i went to the door and yes i found a cute little gift bag sitting on the door mat with a note. grrrrrr
of course they would come while i was in the shower!
but i like my gift it was a Christmas cd and a reese's christmas tree
this person really seems to know how much i love chocolate :)

but i promise i will find this person...wish me luck
